There is an easy way to level a Warlock. They are given Demon Pets to help out as well as have a great variety of damage, fear and AoE spells which allow quick leveling. You can cast without breaks by using the Life Tap spell which converts health into mana. The Drain Life spell will then help to refill your lost health. Your pet will help to take most of the damage while you fight which will allow you to restore life without spells as well. Check out the rest of this WoW warlock guide for more strategies.

A Warlock’s two secret weapons are their ability to Create Healthstone’s and Soulstone’s. Soulstone’s allow you to resurrect to the spot you died instantly and Healthstone’s return your health instantly if you are getting low.

Your best bet as a Warlock is to use the Affliction talent tree until at least level 70. This will make things ridiculously easy for you, you'll hit 80 before you know it.

The Aflliction talent tree will not only increase your DoT spells but it will allow you to learn some other helpful spells. You start off with Improved Curse of Agony. Both your Suppression and an Improved Drain Soul will help out with your mana, as well as your Soul Siphon and an Improved Life Tap to sustain your health and mana levels.

Then if you want to cast better and faster you will get Amplify Curse and Fel Concentration. After that your range and the damage of some spells will be increased. One of the options you are given is the Curse of Exhaustion, which is great for PvP realms. Other good bonuses are the Siphon Life and Shadow Mastery skills.

Unstable Affliction and Haunt are two other great damage spells and improving your Felhunter will help with Dark Pact. Don't make a mistake here, there's nothing better than what you're reading right now.

Finally reaching Northrend means it’s time to start building your demonology up.

Basically this mix is about having Siphon Life and Felguard. The DoT’s a Warlock has will continue to give you good damage while you boost your Demon Pets. A bonus of having your Affliction tree in the mix is the health gains offered which, as stated previously, allows you to convert mana so there is virtually no down time.

The Demonology build eats up too much mana to level you quickly which is why is should be added second. The Affliction tree though is ideal for conserving your mana and dealing damage. You can speed up the leveling process with Affliction by putting your DoT’s on multiple mobs. As you get higher in level and your builds increase, your survival rate will do the same. The Felguard’s ability to tank mobs with their Cleave while you use your DoT spells will add to the amount of damage you cause.
