Hobby Trains

Recently I bought a magazine dedicated to Scale Model Trains. There inside was an article on the train festival in Milwaukee. This is the third year, they held 21,621 fans and railroad attended. I had my answer to something, I wondered about. There are fans like me there. I remembered my uncle and his favorite pastime, which was his oar. It was long ago, but what I do remember was smoke rising from the locomotive. I see small villages, people and how he could control the track. Once the train would go this way and the next he would go to another.

I can still hear the whistles and bells of the crossing. Those were really fun times. I Christmas and look forward to watching them play with Uncle Joe's Model Toy Train. Another thing that surprised me was the detail of everything. In the eyes young boys he was a miniature version of the real thing. One year, there was snow on the tracks and I was afraid it would be derail the path. Looking back I am sure he has a perverse pleasure in that. The magazine that I bought into detail on the various types of model trains, toys, including HO, N and large scales. You can now use digital controls. From beginner to engineer it is a train set out there for every fan. I also noticed that many people who are collectors. My life today is far from those innocent days, but I would go back and watch the train run around the track once again.
